We are looking for a candidate to become Satellite Ground Segment Crypto Software Engineer (d/m/f) within Airbus Space Engineering, located in Friedrichshafen, Germany. You will join a powerful team to design satellite ground segments.

In a modern DevOps environment you will support diverse crypto‑specific tasks, from hardware‑related components up to infrastructure software and end‑to‑end solutions. Responsibilities

• Analysis and flowdown of customer crypto requirements to subsystem and equipment level
• Integration of the newest crypto hardware in the ground segment
• Coordination and contribution to crypto accreditation tasks
• Software development of ground segment related crypto subsystem
• Integration of new technologies (AI, Quantum Cryptography)

Aufgaben

• Analyse und Umsetzung von Kunden Krypto Anforderungen in allen Krypto Subsystemen
• Integration der neuesten Krypto Hardware im Bodensegment
• Koordinierung und Beiträge zur Krypto Akkreditierung
• Software Entwicklung des Bodensegment Krypto Subsystems
• Integration neuer Technologien (KI, Quantenkryptografie)

Required skills

• Degree in computer science or comparable
• Experience with software development (Agile development, Linux‑Environments, DevOps, Kubernetes)
• Experience with crypto engineering, hardware and software components
• (IT) Security knowledge
• Good communication and team skills
• Fluency in German & English

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung (Agile Entwicklung, Linux‑Umgebungen, DevOps, Kubernetes)
