Scada Engineer

Overview

I’m currently supporting a leading international renewable energy developer in the search for an experienced SCADA Engineer to join their expanding team in Germany. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key technical role in the delivery and optimization of large-scale energy projects, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for the integration, commissioning, and ongoing optimization of SCADA systems across a portfolio of renewable and storage projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in both remote engineering and on-site delivery, with strong technical ownership throughout a project’s lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee SCADA system configuration, testing, installation, and commissioning
• Act as a technical interface during construction, commissioning, and operational phases
• Conduct on-site installation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Collaborate across engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure project success
• Ensure systems are delivered safely, on time, and in line with regulatory and technical standards

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in SCADA, automation, energy systems, or related fields
• Hands-on commissioning and on-site installation experience.
• Understanding of medium-voltage (MV) or high-voltage (HV) systems is a plus
• Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle
• Fluent German (C1/C2 level)
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
