SCADA Signal Simulation Engineer (f/m/d)

For a project we are looking for a SCADA Signal Simulation Engineer (f/m/d).

Your tasks will be:

• Design and implementation of a signal simulation environment for SCADA (DSPM platform, based on WinCC OA)
• Replacement of real-world subsystems with simulators for testing, training, and validation
• Development of protocol interfaces (OPC UA, Modbus TCP, IEC 60870-5-104, MQTT; optional SNMP) in compliance with standards
• Setup of a scenario manager including import/export of signal scopes, runtime control, and snapshot imports from productive systems
• Creation of signal tables (Excel/CSV) as a standardized basis for subsystem interface clarification
• Integration with decision support systems and alignment with client-specific requirements (DSB SuSy project)

Your Know-how:

• In-depth knowledge of SCADA systems (WinCC OA, DSPM)
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols: OPC UA, Modbus TCP, IEC-104, MQTT (SNMP optional)
• Experience in system simulation, scenario modeling, and virtualization
• Familiarity with IT/OT integration and railway domain systems (PIS, CCTV, PA, Fire Detection, CBTC, Access Control)
• Competence in API development for remote control and signal processing
• Ability to work with Excel/CSV-based data exchange and structured documentation
• Advantage: Experience with railway safety and signaling standards and client-specific integration (e.g., DSB)
• Excellent German and English skills
