Security & Loss Prevention Officer/Specialist (f/m/d)

You want to prevent goods from disappearing from our warehouse inventory, and you enjoy working with people, handling security equipment, and continuously improving our security measures? In this role you actively contribute to protecting our company’s assets and strengthening the security culture at our site.

What you move

• You lead the external security team responsible for on-site property protection
• As part of the guard service, you monitor logistics facilities and regularly conduct personnel, material, and video checks
• You manage and monitor the intrusion alarm system (IAS)
• You are the first point of contact for internal and external security-related inquiries and ideas and are responsible for ensuring compliance with internal security regulations
• You identify and monitor new risks and abuses related to goods security
• You oversee processes and measures for theft prevention, assess their effectiveness, and continuously improve them

What you will bring

• Some years of professional experience In a similar role; experience in logistics is an advantage
• Basic or further education completed In the field of security
• English (Very good knowledge) Mandatory
• German (Advantageous) Mandatory
• French (Advantageous) Mandatory
• You have successfully completed the recognized IHK certification examination according to §34a GewO or are currently in the process of obtaining it Mandatory
• You already have experience in the security and surveillance industry, particularly in personnel control Mandatory
• Respectful and professional interaction is important to you, and you possess strong interpersonal skills, empathy, excellent conflict-management abilities, and a confident, de‑escalating demeanor Mandatory
• You have an impeccable record, act with discretion and responsibility, and work independently with a structured and analytical approach Mandatory
• High IT affinity and proficiency with common Office programs are required; experience with warehouse management and merchandise data systems is an advantage Mandatory
• Willingness to work day and shift schedules (5 days, 40 hours per week from Monday to Saturday between 5:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.), including occasional on-call duty, as well as mobility compatible with working hours Mandatory
• Ability to align actions and decisions with personal values and convictions Mandatory
• Ability to identify improvement potential and implement changes to increase productivity and effectiveness Mandatory
