An AI start up in Paderborn that is making ground-breaking strides in transforming the world of orthopaedic surgery! They’re looking for a Software Security Engineerto join their rapidly growing team – the company have grown by an impressive 58% in the last 12 months.

This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in the office per week, reporting into the Engineering Manager. They require a B2 German-speaking level as a minimum.

The CEO himself is on the chair of Paderborn University and they're looking for someone with a strong educational background in Security. Your role will be focussed around identifying vulnerabilities in code and remediating these issues, improving the S-SDLC.

You will be responsible for managing security issues, conducting security analyses, install new systems & components, and implement security measures.

Previous commercial experience is not required, however would be beneficial. If you have just completed a degree, with internships or work-student experience, I'd love to hear from you. Anyone with a PHD would be very interesting!

During your studies, if you have worked with Linux systems, coded in C++ or Python, learnt about DevOps and Gitlab, and have a good foundational knowledge of IT Security, you will align with the requirements well.

They offer flexible working hours, an incredibly impressive training & development package, and will pay a base salary from €50,000 - €75,000 (dependant upon experience) plus virtual stock options.
