We help the world run better
At SAP, we keep it simple: you bring your best to us, and we'll bring out the best in you. We touch over 20 industries and 80% of global commerce, and we need your unique talents to shape what's next. This is a challenging yet impactful role. You’ll find a place where you can be yourself, prioritize wellbeing, and truly belong. What’s in it for you? Constant learning, skill growth, great benefits, and a team that wants you to grow and succeed.
What You’ll Do
SAP’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) portfolio powers the world’s most complex systems — from design to operation, across planning, logistics, manufacturing, and service. In a rapidly evolving landscape where supply‑chain software becomes real‑time autonomous orchestration, SAP is accelerating its journey to an Autonomous Supply Chain. As part of the SCM Agentix UX team, you will embed directly in SAP’s most strategic AI lighthouse initiatives to design and ship AI‑native experiences from scratch.
- Ship Agentic Experiences: Design and prototype end‑to‑end AI‑native workflows for SCM lighthouse initiatives — from autonomous planning agents to GenUI interaction models — working directly embedded in product and engineering squads.
- Define Interaction Patterns: Translate complex agentic behaviors (goal‑setting, delegation, human‑in‑the‑loop oversight, explainability) into clear, usable, and trustworthy user experiences.
- Build the Pattern Library: Document and codify reusable agentic UX patterns that can be adopted across the broader SCM design organization, creating leverage beyond the incubator team.
- Drive Design Quality: Own the craft quality of your work end‑to‑end — from early concepts and flows to high‑fidelity prototypes and shipped UI — raising the bar for what AI‑powered enterprise software looks like.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and AI platform teams to align on feasibility, drive scope, and move fast without sacrificing design intent.
What You Bring
- 5+ years designing complex B2B or enterprise software, ideally with exposure to the SAP ecosystem or enterprise supply‑chain domains.
- Hands‑on track record of shipping AI‑powered products: you have designed workflows involving AI agents, LLM outputs, or automation, and understand the UX challenges that come with non‑deterministic systems.
- Strong interaction‑design and prototyping craft: you can move from ambiguous brief to working prototype fast, and know when to go high‑fidelity vs. a quick flow sketch.
- Solid grasp of agentic UX concepts: human‑in‑the‑loop design, trust calibration, agent goal‑setting, graceful failure states, and explainable AI interactions.
- Experience working in lean, fast‑moving product teams: you are comfortable with 0‑to‑1 work, can manage your own scope, and do not need a fully defined brief to get started.
- Ability to think in systems: you design individual screens but always keep the end‑to‑end workflow and pattern reusability in mind.
- Passion for the intersection of AI, automation, and enterprise UX, ideally with a portfolio that demonstrates this focus.
