Senior AI Engineer / Consultant – (agentic AI) - 90% Home-office

Tasks

• Establishing AI-supported Software Development Lifecycles for clients – with modern agentic coding tools

• Strategic consulting and empowerment of development teams in the use of AI technologies – as a technical thought leader and sparring partner with deep engineering understanding

• Practical experience in the integration and application of AI technologies within cloud architectures is desirable – especially in Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon AWS.

• Proof-of-value projects and showcases that make the benefits of AI in software engineering visible and measurable.

• Coaching and enablement through pair/mob programming and practice-oriented learning formats to sustainably strengthen teams

• Pre-sales support through technical demos, ROI argumentation, and C-level storytelling.

• Ideally, experience in consulting on modern cloud engineering practices (CI/CD, GitOps, IaC with Terraform/Bicep, Observability)

Profile

• Experience in using modern agentic coding tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex) and an understanding of how AI transforms the development process.

• Several years of experience in cloud-based software engineering and sound knowledge of modern development methods (clean code, automated tests, code reviews, continuous integration & delivery)

• Strong consulting skills, empathy and communication skills in customer contact

• Presentation and storytelling skills for demos and pre-sales scenarios

• Passion for knowledge sharing, coaching and building communities
