Senior QA Engineer (m/f/d) , you are responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and security of our digital products and platforms with a strong focus on data‑driven and AI‑powered solutions. You design comprehensive testing strategies that ensure new features are not only functional but also maintainable and scalable over time. You see quality as an essential part of the entire development lifecycle. From requirements analysis and automated testing to CI/CD integration, you bring structure, transparency, and consistency to complex system environments. Working closely with engineering, data, cloud, and DevOps teams, you establish modern QA standards and scalable testing architectures for enterprise‑grade platforms.

Tasks

• Define and own a comprehensive testing strategy for applications, platforms, and AI‑based solutions.
• Build scalable test automation solutions and continuously enhance existing testing frameworks.
• Implement automated testing across API, integration, and end‑to‑end layers.
• Seamlessly integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to ensure high release quality.
• Define quality metrics, establish transparent reporting, and support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Perform structured defect analysis, lead root‑cause investigations, and ensure sustainable resolutions.
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams, supporting features from concept to production release.
• Ensure regulatory, data privacy, and compliance requirements are embedded in testing processes.
• Share QA best practices across international teams and support the development of less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in quality assurance or software testing in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in test automation and building scalable testing frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with common automation tools and technologies, such as:
• UI testing: Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• API testing: REST Assured, Postman, or similar
• Test frameworks: JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent
• CI/CD integration: GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Strong understanding of modern software architectures (microservices, REST APIs, event‑driven systems).
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and build tools.
• Structured, analytical mindset with a strong commitment to quality.
• Experience working in international project or team environments.
• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to different audiences.
• Excellent German and English language skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (limited frequency).

This position can also be filled on a part‑time basis. In case of equal qualification, disabled candidates will be considered preferentially.
