Senior Android Developer – LATAM

About the Position

We are looking for a Senior Android Developer to join a high-performing, cross-functional engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of designing and building advanced Android applications, driving best practices across the mobile stack, and collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional user experiences. You will be a key technical contributor, leveraging your expertise in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android development patterns to ship production-ready features at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced applications for the Android platform, ensuring high performance and a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to define, design, and ship new features.
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure application reliability and robustness.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance application performance and user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Android app development, with a strong portfolio of released applications.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages.
• Solid, hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for building modern, declarative Android UIs.
• Strong knowledge of dependency injection frameworks , particularly Hilt or Dagger.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
