A top-tier AWS Consulting Partner is seeking an experienced German-speaking AWS Architect to join its consulting organisation. The firm supports clients ranging from early-stage, venture-backed businesses to large enterprise organisations, delivering complex and high-impact cloud architecture and transformation projects.

Role Overview: As a Senior AWS Architect, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient AWS solutions. You will work closely with client stakeholders and delivery teams to translate business and technical requirements into well-architected cloud solutions.

The role combines hands-on architecture, technical leadership, and client advisory responsibilities across a wide range of project sizes and industries.

Key Responsibilities: Design and review end-to-end AWS architectures across startup, scale-up, and enterprise environments Provide technical leadership during cloud transformation and modernisation initiatives Advise clients on AWS best practices for security, scalability, availability, and cost optimisation Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and platform teams throughout delivery Lead architectural discussions with technical and non-technical stakeholders Contribute to internal standards, best practices, and knowledge sharing Support presales and solution design activities where required

Required Experience and Skills: Demonstrable experience as an AWS Architect or Senior Cloud Consultant Strong practical knowledge of core AWS services (e.g. EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, EKS, Lambda) Solid understanding of cloud security, networking, and governance Experience working across multiple client environments and project scales Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Fluent German (C1/C2) and professional English proficiency AWS certifications are advantageous (e.g. Solutions Architect – Professional)
