Our platform integrates with a company’s tech stack (AWS, Azure AD, Jira, etc.) to automatically extract compliance data and create a checklist.

What You’ll Do

• Be the go‑to backend expert for your product area.
• Work with the CTO and Tech Lead to set technical direction.
• Collaborate with product, design, and customers to plan, design, build, and ship features on schedule.
• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, debug, support, maintain, and evolve features and code.
• Leverage AI‑powered engineering tools (Cursor, Claude, etc.) to accelerate development, debugging, and testing.
• Own and maintain product and technical documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and support teammates in your area of expertise.
• Follow the company’s culture and communication guidelines and live by our values.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of full‑time backend or product engineering experience building user‑facing products.
• Strong object‑oriented programming fundamentals in Java.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate (or equivalent), relational database design, and SQL optimisation.
• Testing, monitoring, and troubleshooting background.
• Ability to design and build backend systems that scale in features and concurrent usage.
• End‑to‑end ownership of features from idea to production delivery.
• Experience communicating design ideas and adapting to feedback before coding.
• Extensive experience with AI‑powered engineering tools (Cursor, Claude) and validating their outputs.
• Previous experience with Golang and/or Typescript is a bonus.

Preferred (Bonus)

• Experience working at fully remote companies.
• Experience on early‑stage startups.
• Built functional AI features or integrated AI with backend systems.
• 0.5–1 year of software engineering experience in high‑growth VC‑funded startups.
