We are looking for you to join us in Eppelheim, Germany as a Senior Beverage Development Technologist (m/f/d) .

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Behave as a senior leader within the company helping others cross functionally, providing project leadership and taking ownership of iinnovation projects in the filed of beverage development

• Driving creativity and new product development, proactively proposing ideas to commercial/marketing teams.

• Identification and qualification of raw materials 

• Responsible for the delivery of finished products from conception to commercialisation, requires deep technical understanding of product development and application from recipe formulation in the laboratory to commercialisation

• Knowledge in flavor application in particular for juice based drinks

• Drives continuous improvement of the product development process, identifies and implements appropriate metrics/ improved ways of working and procedures
• Interactive team member supporting all aspects of formulation, providing extensive technical support to the whole TG where and when required

• Discover, develop and commercialize new beverages, processes or any other innovation which can be used by the company to drive growth and fits within the current company strategy. Drive the continuous optimization of the existing product portfolio.

• Provide technical support for any production or proposed production facility when required
• Ensure documentation pertaining to any project, formulation or idea is captured and put in the appropriate place within the technical document management system

• Ensure all projects are kept update and all documentation is available to anyone related to the project and has access to the knowledge management system

• Strong in project management and project execution, including prioritization of product developments

YOUR PROFILE ​

• Degree in Food Technology, Nutritional Science, Chemistry, or comparable qualification

• Several years of professional experience in food or beverage product development, ideally in the children’s segment - specifically in Europe

• Proven experience in leading teams and projects

• Solid knowledge of sensory analysis and statistics

• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style

• Strong communication and coordination skills

• High focus on quality and innovation

• Very good knowledge of English is part of your assets. German is not required but nice to have
