Senior Business Manager
OUR CLIENT
Our client is one of the oldest bank in the Gand-Duchy. Located in Luxembourg City. It has always played an active role in the development of the Luxembourg economy. It currently operates in retail, private and corporate banking, as well as on major capital markets
YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Within the Corporate Banking department, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and developing relationships with existing clients by proposing innovative products and services.
This role focuses on acquiring new mid-corporate clients, especially those with complex or strategic needs, and supporting Corporate Banking teams in identifying and developing growth opportunities.
Client Acquisition & Networking
Build and maintain a strong external network of corporate clients and strategic partners to identify new business opportunities and present the bank’s full range of solutions.
Collaboration with Relationship Managers
Work closely with (Senior) Relationship Managers to spot growth and cross-selling opportunities within their portfolios. Take the lead in preparing proposals and solution packages (e.g., cash management, lending, or structured solutions), then hand over day-to-day relationship management to the relevant manager.
Business Development on Strategic Projects
Drive complex, sensitive, or strategic client projects, ensuring high-quality and innovative solutions aligned with Corporate Banking priorities.
Promotion of the Corporate Banking Value Proposition
Act as a key ambassador of the Corporate Banking offering and contribute to its development, while supporting teams in understanding and positioning this value.
Market & Competitor Insights
Provide Corporate Banking teams with relevant market intelligence, client insights, competitor analysis, and updates on product and pricing trends.
Training & Knowledge Sharing
Deliver technical training to (Senior) Relationship Managers across different units to strengthen their ability to identify new opportunities within their portfolios.
Representation & External Presence
Represent the bank at external events such as conferences, seminars, client meetings, and training sessions, contributing to the bank’s visibility and expert positioning.
Portfolio Growth & Commercial Targets
Help expand the Corporate Banking client base and contribute to achieving targets related to revenue, costs, deposits, and loan production, while maintaining high standards as part of the first line of defense.
Compliance & Procedures
Respect all compliance requirements (KYC, AML, etc.) and ensure proper documentation of client information in the CRM system.
Product & Service Development
Contribute to the enhancement and design of new products and services based on client needs and market evolution.
