Overview

We are looking for a (Senior) Business IT Architect – Focus on SAP (m/f/d).

ABG FRANKFURT HOLDING GmbH is the housing and real estate group of the city of Frankfurt am Main. Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a state-of-the-art SAP landscape and actively shape the digital roadmap of a growing real estate portfolio.
You will advise the specialist departments on process optimization within the SAP landscape (ideally with a focus on RE-FX, FI/CO, or PM) and ensure their integration into peripheral systems.
You will translate real estate requirements into efficient IT processes (e.g., rental management, service charge billing, maintenance).
You will advise on the "standard vs. customizing" decision, ensuring that the IT architecture remains maintainable and future-proof.
You will oversee the connection of third-party systems (PropTechs, portals, metering service providers) via APIs or the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
You will support IT projects in the SAP environment and strengthen the transformation towards cloud and S/4HANA infrastructures.
You will act as a strategic advisor to management and the specialist departments.

Requirements

Degree in (business) information technology, business administration, or real estate management with a high affinity for IT, or comparable expertise acquired through professional experience
In-depth knowledge of SAP architecture; experience with modules such as SAP RE-FX and Blue Eagle (Real Estate) is a strong plus, alternatively in-depth knowledge of FI/CO or MM/P.
Understanding of the real estate life cycle (planning, construction, operation) is an advantage.
Experience in process modeling and agile project methods (Scrum/Kanban)
Basic understanding of SAP Fiori, S/4HANA, and modern integration scenarios (OData, REST)
Ability to identify dependencies in complex system landscapes before problems arise
Ability to confidently moderate workshops and mediate between conflicting requirements from business departments and IT.
Ability to make complex SAP logic understandable for users.
