We are looking for a motivated and experienced

Senior Buyer

to join our Bad Oeynhausen office. The ideal candidate has a strong background in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term supplier relationships in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: Co-development and independent implementation of the purchasing strategy and procurement plan Conducting purchasing negotiations, implementing procurement processes, and independently concluding contracts Continuous market observation/analysis and derivation of recommendations for action Supplier management (including search) and development, as well as participation in supplier audits and qualifications Identification and realization of savings potential Optimization of purchasing processes with a focus on digital transformation Close cooperation with the SCM, development, quality, and finance departments

Requirements: Technical or commercial degree or comparable qualification with strong technical understanding Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing Previous experience in the plastics industry desirable Exceptional negotiating skills and assertiveness Strong initiative and solution-oriented approach Analytical, structured thinking and working style and ability to work in a team Business fluent German and English skills Confident use of ERP systems and Microsoft Office
