Senior Cloud Development Trainer (f/m/d)

The IONOS Service Integration team is looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Development Trainer to support our development teams throughout the entire service lifecycle—from creation and launch to long-term operation. In this role, you will help shape engineering excellence across the organisation by providing structured technical training, coaching, and standardisation.

• Training and Enablement
  • Design and deliver practical, hands-on training programmes focused on Cloud-Native software development and service integration.
  • Present complex technical concepts in a clear, accessible and structured way.
• Documentation and Standards
  • Establish and promote consistent documentation practices across product teams.
  • Help standardise coding guidelines and integration processes.
• Technical Collaboration
  • Participate directly in development workflows within product teams to understand challenges and ensure training content remains relevant and up to date.

Qualifications

• Strong teaching and communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and systematically.
• Proven experience in AI driven software development , including developing, testing and deploying production-grade code (Go experience strongly preferred).
• Solid understanding of web services , including REST and OpenAPI.
• Hands-on Kubernetes expertise , including experience with operators, controllers and Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), as well as operating containerised applications on Kubernetes.
• Background in software architecture , ideally with practical application in distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud environments and Cloud-Native ecosystems.
• Self-driven learner with the ability to independently explore new technologies and continuously improve.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%).

• German and English fluently
