Your tasks

Design and deliver data-driven IT projects in the area of Azure cloud engineering

Automate deployment processes and continuous integration

Design and develop cloud-native distributed systems, container orchestration platforms and serverless architectures

Provide best practices support for customers and synvert in Azure area

Collaboration within the synvert group for Azure cloud related topics

Land & Expand: recognising opportunities and risks in the Cloud projects

Demonstrate good communication and presentation skills to effectively engage and persuade customers upon initial interaction.

Coaching of practice members, contributing to the success of the Azure cluster at synvert

What do we expect from you?

4 years of experience in Cloud / Data Engineering area and consultancy

Experience with hands‑on implementation of the Cloud/Data Engineering projects

Excellent programming skills (e.g. Java, Python, Scala; object‑oriented). Any other language considered a plus

Strong technical skills in emerging data technologies, especially in the big data areas of Azure

Best Practices in setting up data platforms via IaC

Bachelor / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Information Management or similar qualification

Certifications in Azure: e.g. Associate or Professional or proven record of delivering projects with Azure

Openness to occasional travel (up to 30% of the time)

German, English: fluent in speaking & writing

Very good presentation and communication skills
