Responsibilities

Design and deliver data‑driven IT projects on the Databricks platform.

Hands‑on implementation of Cloud and Data Engineering projects.

Provide best‑practice support for customers and Synvert in the Databricks area.

Stay up‑to‑date with the latest features of Databricks.

Recognise opportunities and risks in the Cloud Data analytics area.

Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills to effectively engage and persuade customers.

Coach practice members, contributing to the success of the Databricks cluster at Synvert.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience in Platform / Data Engineering & consultancy.

Hands‑on experience with Databricks and Cloud/Data Engineering projects.

Excellent programming skills (Python, Scala, Java, or other object‑oriented languages).

Strong technical skills in emerging data technologies, especially Databricks.

Expertise in Unity Catalog, Data Warehousing, or Performance Optimization on Databricks.

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Information Management or a similar qualification.

Databricks certifications (Associate or Professional) or proven record of delivering projects with Databricks.

Openness to occasional travel (up to 30%).

Fluent in German and English (speaking & writing).

Strong presentation and communication skills.
