Senior Consultant (m/f/d) - Allianz Consulting - IT Core Systems / AI

Allianz Consulting is the internal consulting division of the Allianz Group, operating across global hubs and focusing on strategy, market management, sales and distribution, IT, organization, claims and operations, and central functions, leveraging Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IT core systems transformations for Allianz entities—connecting platform modernization, data migration and GenAI to measurable business impact
• Identify high‑value opportunities where automation and GenAI remove manual work (from requirements and testing to reporting and stakeholder communications) and help make them real
• Run workstreams end‑to‑end—scope, plan, deliver, de‑risk and track benefits—in complex IT landscapes with multiple stakeholders
• Translate complexity into clarity: craft sharp storylines, create compelling decks and steer senior decision‑making with transparent governance and crisp options
• Shape delivery readiness for go‑lives (environments, releases, cut‑over planning, risk & issue management) and coordinate internal and external delivery partners
• Help build Allianz Consulting’s AI‑enabled ways of working

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in management consulting, IT transformation, digital innovation or a comparable environment
• Strong enjoyment of experimentation and a natural instinct to find smarter processes with AI—desire to shape the future of work and help people embrace new ways of working practically, not just conceptually
• Strong AI/GenAI/Claude Code/Vibe coding literacy, tool curiosity and the drive to apply it hands‑on in daily work—bonus if you’ve built prototypes or prompt libraries
• Structured problem‑solving and analytical skills; comfortable managing dependencies, ambiguity and delivery pressure
• Creative and resourceful—entrepreneurial mindset, high ownership and the ability to find paths forward even when the brief is messy
• Excellent storytelling and communication skills: you can make complex topics feel simple, build convincing narratives, and deliver client‑ready presentations
• Strong stakeholder management skills—especially with senior stakeholders (incl. C‑level)—and the ability to build excitement and alignment
• Very good German and fluent English
