Senior Consultant SAP FI CO

Permanent Germany : Remote

Your Responsibilities As a (Senior) Consultant focusing on

SAP Finance & Controlling (FI/CO) , you will support leading international enterprises in the successful implementation of digitalisation, transformation, and optimisation projects across Finance and Controlling.

From day one, you’ll take ownership of specific work packages within client projects, helping to design efficient, transparent, and future‑proof financial processes.

Your main responsibilities include:

Advising clients on the design and optimisation of SAP FI/CO processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.

Supporting end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation projects — from requirement gathering through solution design and implementation.

Conducting process analyses and developing recommendations for automation, harmonisation, and integration of finance and controlling workflows.

Preparing functional specifications and ensuring alignment between business and technical teams.

Supporting testing, training, and go‑live phases to ensure a smooth project delivery.

Collaborating closely with project management and assisting in the preparation of decision‑making materials for senior stakeholders.

Contributing to internal knowledge sharing, innovation initiatives, and the ongoing development of the SAP Finance practice.

Your Profile

Successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, or a related field.

Practical experience in management consulting or a comparable position, ideally within the SAP environment.

Solid understanding of accounting and controlling processes, ideally with hands‑on SAP FI/CO configuration knowledge.

Experience with

SAP S/4HANA Finance

or a strong willingness to build expertise in this area.

Analytical mindset, structured approach, and high level of self‑motivation.

Confident in

MS Office applications , particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent communication skills in

German and English

(both written and spoken).

Flexible, reliable, and collaborative personality with a confident demeanour and a positive attitude.
