(Senior) Cybersecurity Consultant – Focus on Privileged Access Management

YOUR TASKS:

Technical consulting, design, and implementation of solutions in the field of Privileged Access Management (PAM)

Installation, configuration, and integration of leading PAM systems (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, Wallix)

Development of custom adaptations and automations (e.g., via scripting, APIs, custom workflows)

Conducting technical workshops, proof-of-concepts, and architecture designs

Technical support during ongoing operations – troubleshooting, performance optimization, error analysis

Collaboration with IT security and infrastructure teams as well as, if necessary, with vendors

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

At least 5 years of experience in IT security/infrastructure, including several years in the technical implementation of PAM or IAM projects

Degree in (Business) Informatics or equivalent practical qualification

Excellent knowledge in the following areas: - Credential vaulting, session recording, just-in-time access, least privilege, logging & monitoring - Windows/Linux administration, directory services (AD/LDAP), networks, interfaces - Scripting/automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python, REST APIs)

Strong understanding of leading PAM solutions and their use cases

Nice to have: Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIS2, DORA, BSI IT-Grundschutz, BAIT, ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR)

Excellent German skills (C1) and good English skills (B2), both spoken and written
