Senior Data Analyst (m/w/d) – D2C | FMCG | E-Commerce - Berlin

Rosental Organics GmbH invites you to join our team as a Senior Data Analyst. In this role you will drive data‑enabled growth across our D2C and e‑commerce business, translating numbers into clear decisions and building the foundation of our data & insights ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Reporting & Visualization : Build an integrated data foundation across systems (Shopify, Amazon, ERP, marketing, finance), ensure data quality and develop actionable dashboards with Power BI, Looker or Tableau.
• KPI Framework : Establish a unified KPI system – from revenue, CAC to DB, stock metrics, and maintain its evolution.
• Business Insights : Collaborate closely with brand, D2C and retail leaders to enable data‑driven decisions.
• Processes & Standards : Design repeatable reporting and insight processes, define KPI standards, and champion automation.
• Forecasting & Performance : Ensure all relevant data are consistent, up‑to‑date and actionable.

Key Contributions

• Establish transparent, up‑to‑date KPI dashboards covering all business units.
• Secure data quality by minimizing error rates and instituting validation processes.
• Implement recurring reporting cycles and consistent KPI definitions.
• Deliver analyses that directly influence marketing, brand and supply decisions.
• Instill a culture where data‑driven decisions become standard across the company.

Qualifications

• Analytical Excellence : Mastery of BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau) and deep understanding of data models, KPIs and business economics.
• Business Sense : Ability to contextualise numbers and derive strategic recommendations.
• Systemic Thinking : Build structured, automated reporting pipelines.
• Communication : Present insights clearly to varied audiences – from marketing to senior leadership.
• Ownership : Take responsibility for data quality, processes and outcomes.
• Growth Mindset : Drive initiatives autonomously and deliver pragmatic solutions.

Experience

• 3‑5 years in data analytics or business intelligence, ideally within e‑commerce, start‑ups or FMCG.
• Relevant university background in information systems, business administration or a related field focused on data & BI.
• Hands‑on experience with databases (SQL, Excel, Google Sheets, ERP/Shopify/Amazon).
• Proven track record in building or evolving reporting structures.
• Passion for data‑driven business models and digital growth strategies.
