Senior Depot Operator – CBOX Containers | Hamburg

CBOX Containers is looking for a Senior Depot Operator for our depot in Hamburg .

Within our depots we ensure that containers are available, safe and of top quality for customers worldwide.

In this role you perform container inspections and repairs and ensure containers are ready for rental or sale. You work with containers, machines and equipment in a practical depot environment and support colleagues with technical tasks.

About the role

As a Senior Depot Operator , you ensure containers are technically sound and ready for customers.

Within the depot, containers are inspected, moved and prepared daily for rental or sale.

You are an experienced member of the depot team and monitor the quality of containers, equipment and operational processes.

As a senior employee, you take a leading role in quality and support colleagues with technical activities.

What will you do?

• Perform container inspections
• Assess container condition and damage
• Carry out repairs and technical maintenance
• Move containers using a forklift
• Register inspections and work performed
• Support colleagues with depot activities
• Monitor safety and depot procedures
• Identify technical improvements

Who are you?

• Technical or mechanical insight
• Experience in a logistics or technical working environment
• Good command of German (required)
• Accurate and quality‑oriented
• Hands‑on mentality
• Willing to perform physical work
• Team player

Preferred

• VCA certificate
• Experience with MIG/MAG welding
