Your mission

• As part of a team of DevOps engineers, you will ensure that DevOps principles such as automation, CI/CD and cross-functional collaboration are applied.
• Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing and maintaining a scalable, secure and highly available infrastructure.
• You will define best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation, and optimise system performance by using resources efficiently.
• You will implement disaster recovery and failover mechanisms to protect critical systems, as well as developing CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
• You will monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure and GCP) to ensure scalability, cost optimisation and security.
• You will also manage containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• You will maintain monitoring and alerting systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic and Datadog, resolving critical issues as necessary.
• You will carry out regular vulnerability assessments, implement preventive measures and security procedures, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Your role will involve working closely with our software developers to align DevOps strategies with business objectives.

Your profile

• You have at least five years' experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure and have proven knowledge of implementing CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure (including computing, storage, networking and security). You are also proficient in using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps, as well as Terraform.
• You have in-depth experience with Docker and Kubernetes, as well as knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, New Relic and Datadog.
• You are adept at using scripting languages such as Bash or Python, and are familiar with version control systems such as Git.
• You have a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• You are comfortable with on-call duties, including weekends.
• Your excellent communication skills enable you to support both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• You can manage multiple projects simultaneously and solve complex, multifaceted problems.
• You are characterised by attention to detail and a commitment to quality and reliability.
• Your English language skills are strong, both in writing and speaking.
