The Team

A&M’s Global Transaction Advisory Group (TAG) is the largest practice outside the Big 4 audit firms. We work for premium clients on high‑profile deals, including private equity, fast‑growth premium small‑cap deals, multinational corporates, and LBOs. Joining the European Transaction Advisory team means working on exciting projects across Germany, Europe, and globally, collaborating with Managing Directors and gaining exposure to a variety of sectors and industries.

How you will contribute

• Lead teams and work on multiple Transaction Advisory engagements in Germany, across Europe, and globally, working closely with Managing Directors.
• Engage in commercial, business development, and marketing activities, leveraging Managing Directors’ deal experience.
• Apply the commercial aspects of financial analysis skills, gaining exposure to key drivers and valuation considerations that drive a transaction.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial professionals in combined project teams, enhancing understanding of the due diligence and wider deal process.
• Network internally with other service lines and participate in external marketing events to build cross‑service relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Transaction Advisory (Financial Due Diligence) projects across a variety of sectors, ideally at a Big 4 audit firm.
• Strong academic record and a degree from a leading university or equivalent.
• Well‑developed stakeholder‑management skills, including managing key client relationships and networking/business development.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Native or fluent German and English are essential; additional language skills are highly advantageous.
• Highly ambitious and motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset, deep functional knowledge, and a blend of operational and commercial skills.
