Your Role

• Deploy ESD/LU device testing methods based on excellent understanding of international standards in close cooperation with Reliability Product Testing & Quality Management teams
• Support Infineon product lines during ESD/LU product qualification to ensure business success
• Take care of specific customer cases during trouble shooting and contribute to complex problem solving with characterization, testing and investigation of products in our lab
• Coordinate and guide internal teams for the successful implementation of ESD control in production and labs as well as assist Infineon Operations for the release of ESD compliant production equipment
• Provide ESD risk assessment for internal and external customers
• Facilitate and execute trainings to international teams for ESD-safe handling
• Support during audits and compliance verification in frontend, backend and labs as well as contribute to innovations and new methodologies for ESD device testing and ESD control measures

Your Profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• A degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering or a similar field, a PhD is a plus
• At least 1-3 years of professional working experience in semiconductor industry, experience with measurements techniques as well as first experience within ESD/LU
• Experience in test methodology and practical application of measurement equipment is desired
• Practical experience with measurement software, tester interface and data management tools as well as knowledge about ESD/LU standards and their application is a plus
• First experience with external ESD protection is preferable as well as good analytical skills and the ability to solve technical challenges while keeping the big picture in mind
• Confident in taking effective and timely technical decisions having customers & business success in focus as well as excellent team skills and continuously display your proactivity and self‑reliance and willingness to guide virtual international teams including traveling as well as willingness to collaborate with diverse teams
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
