Senior Erlang/Elixir Engineer - Friedrichshafen area (d / m / f)

Responsibilities

• Build, evolve, and operate backend systems end-to-end: from concept and implementation to deployment, monitoring, and optimization
• Develop and optimize distributed cloud systems, with Elixir as a core technology
• Design scalable, reliable software architectures that support high-traffic B2C products
• Implement and maintain messaging systems (e.g. AMQP, MQTT, PubSub) to enable seamless service communication
• Work closely with product, design, and other stakeholders to discuss trade-offs and deliver value

Requirements

• Obtained a degree in Computer Science, or similar
• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development
• Experience Elixir/Erlang
• Experience with messaging systems such as AMQP, MQTT, etc.
• Bonus: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud-based deployments, Kubernetes, IaC, (Terraform), Linux system administration
• Fluency in German & English
