Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in FP&A. In this role, you will be an integral member of the Finance team as we continue to build and enhance our FP&A capabilities. This position understands the business well, is highly analytical, and provides financial and strategic insights to enable the company to make well‑informed decisions. This position requires the ability to effectively partner, communicate, and collaborate across the Finance team and with various levels of management and program/functional teams across the company. This requires the ability to thrive in team‑oriented environments and ensuring a high degree of accountability, transparency, and understanding as it relates to the forecasting, reporting, accounting and operational performance of the organization. The successful candidate will be self‑motivated, resourceful, have strong analytical skills and can thrive in a fast‑paced biotech company.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain reports, models, and data integrations within Adaptive Planning (Adaptive Insights)
- Serve as a hands‑on contributor supporting annual budgeting and forecasting cycles with Adaptive Planning, ensuring data accuracy, modeling consistency, and reporting logic
- Help enhance and standardize FP&A processes, reporting packages, and financial analysis as the company scales
- Support month‑end reporting activities, including preparation of actuals, cost trend analysis, variance analysis, and business partner reporting for G&A functional areas
- Collaborate across G&A functional teams to compile budgets, forecasts, and long‑range plans
- Act as liaison between business partners and Accounting, supporting monthly and quarterly accruals in accordance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Support broader organization through ad hoc projects and financial analyses, as needed
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, or related field
- 3 to 5 years finance/FP&A experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Prior employment at a publicly traded biotech company preferred
- Proficiency with Excel, financial modelling, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools required (Adaptive Planning preferred)
- Knowledge of US GAAP and SOX principles required
- A natural curiosity to understand the business further, a sense of ownership for their work and an ability to develop strong working relationships
- Highly motivated, with ability to think strategically and prioritize, including a demonstrated ability to organize work effectively to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills; ability to work collaboratively with other parts of the business, including key internal and external stakeholders and executive management
- Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment

- Position requires up to 15% travel including mandatory in‑person attendance at All Hands meetings typically held twice per year
The anticipated salary range for candidates for this role will be $110,000–$120,000. The final salary offered will depend on several factors, which may include, but is not limited to relevant years of experience, educational background, and geography.
