About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (m/w/d) to join our Finance Opex Controlling team, supporting Engineering (R&D) and Sales & Marketing (S&M) business areas and acting as a trusted finance partner to senior leadership, including Director‑level stakeholders and above, in a global technology‑driven organization.
This is an individual contributor role offering broad exposure to global business operations through close collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders across regions and time zones, requiring strong analytical judgment, independent execution, and a strong team‑player mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Opex controlling for assigned R&D and S&M cost areas, including Capex Planning
• Own the assigned business areas’ annual budgeting and quarterly rolling forecast cycles, planning and scheduling own work
• Execute monthly close and variance analysis activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal standards
• Act as a finance business partner to cross‑functional stakeholders, delivering standard reporting, dashboards, and ad‑hoc project and analysis
• Contribute to continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting, enhancing efficiency, data quality, and transparency across Opex controlling activities

Required Education / Training / Specialization

• Successfully completed studies (university/university of applied sciences) in the field of Accounting, Business, Mathematics, Science or Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of Opex Controlling and FP&A experience, ideally within a large, international, technology‑driven organization; R&D exposure is advantageous

Required Knowledge And Skills

• Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills, including handling large datasets
• Robust and flexible under pressure and able to cope with a fast pace, tight deadlines, varying priorities and ambiguity within a matrix organisation
• Knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Tableau (preferred)
