Your Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Senior Frontend Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in crafting high-performance, user-centric interfaces within our TypeScript-based technology landscape, with a strong emphasis on Next.js and React for building scalable frontend applications. You’ll collaborate on integrations with our backend services (e.g., Hono, Node.js, Nest.js, Python with FastAPI) and contribute to AI-driven features like knowledge graph visualizations. As a senior developer, you’ll apply advanced frontend engineering principles to ensure maintainable, accessible, and optimized user experiences, while working in a fast-paced environment that includes DevOps practices and cloud deployments. The ideal candidate has deep TypeScript expertise and thrives in creating innovative, responsive UIs that drive user engagement and business impact.

• Frontend Development : Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend applications using Next.js and React, focusing on server-side rendering, static site generation, and dynamic client-side interactions. Implement web components for reusable, modular UI elements.
• TypeScript and Architecture : Leverage deep TypeScript knowledge to architect robust frontend systems, applying design principles (e.g., component composition, hooks patterns) for modularity, scalability, and testability.
• UI/UX Optimization : Enhance user interfaces with responsive design, accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG), performance optimizations (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting), and modern CSS approaches (e.g., Tailwind CSS, CSS-in-JS like Styled Components).
• State Management and Testing : Manage complex application state using tools like Redux or Zustand, and ensure quality through unit/integration testing with Jest and React Testing Library.
• Integrations and Collaboration : Integrate frontend with REST APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and backend services, while collaborating on AI features like vector search visualizations and knowledge graph interfaces. Contribute to cross-functional efforts, including DevOps for deployments on Kubernetes/AWS.
• Innovation and Best Practices : Experiment with emerging frontend technologies (e.g., Remix for enhanced routing) to improve user experience, and maintain clean, maintainable codebases through refactoring and code reviews.

Your profile

• Experience : Minimum 5-8 years in frontend development, with proven seniority in leading complex UI projects from conception to production.
• Technical Stack : Expertise in Next.js and React; deep proficiency in TypeScript for type-safe, scalable code; experience with web components for modular design.
• Tools and Practices : Proficiency in state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand), testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library), and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
• Integrations : Experience integrating with APIs (REST/GraphQL) and collaborating on full-stack systems, including basic familiarity with backend concepts for seamless handoffs.
• Software Engineering Principles : Deep understanding of frontend design patterns (e.g., higher-order components, context API), clean architecture, and strategies for maintainability and optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Additional Frameworks : Familiarity with Remix or other modern frameworks (e.g., Vue.js, Svelte) for diverse frontend approaches.
• Advanced Extras : Experience with animations (e.g., Framer Motion), progressive web apps (PWAs), SEO best practices, or UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma) to enhance frontend innovation.
