Senior Full Stack Developer (Cyber Security)

Overview

Senior Full Stack Developer (Cyber Security) role at Cyber Curriculum. This is a hands-on engineering position focused on building our MSSP platform, mentoring and leading junior developers, and integrating cutting-edge cybersecurity tools (CrowdStrike, Elastic, Windows Defender). Responsibilities

Develop & optimize

full-stack applications using

Supabase (SQL), NextJS, TypeScript, and Python . Build

scalable and secure APIs

to interact with security tools and external integrations. Lead & mentor junior developers , conducting code reviews, technical coaching, and architectural guidance. Ensure

best practices in secure coding, performance optimization, and database design . Process and analyze security data , working with SIEMs, EDRs, and real-time event processing. Work closely with

security analysts

to translate threat intelligence into automated detection and response features. Own and drive system architecture decisions , ensuring scalability and maintainability. Foster a

collaborative team environment , helping junior developers grow their expertise. Requirements

5+ years

of experience in

full-stack development , ideally in

cybersecurity or security-related applications . Proven experience leading and mentoring junior developers in a team setting. Expertise in

TypeScript, NextJS, Python, and Supabase (SQL) . Strong experience with

API development (REST, GraphQL), authentication (OAuth, JWT), and security best practices . Familiarity with

SIEMs, EDR solutions, security automation, and large-scale security data processing . Experience working with

large-scale databases, query optimization, and performance tuning . Hands-on experience integrating with security tools like

CrowdStrike, Elastic, or Windows Defender . Knowledge of

cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

and DevOps workflows (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code). Nice to have:

Experience with

security automation & orchestration (SOAR) , contributions to

open-source security projects , and security certifications ( OSCP, CISSP, AWS Security ). Benefits
