Senior Full-Stack Developer - React & Azure Serverless (m/f/d)

Your mission

• Design and build customer-facing web applications for our Digital UAS Platform
• Develop Single-Page-Applications usingNext.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and shadcn/ui
• Develop Typescript-based backend services using Azure Functions
• Build and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform, including API Management, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure Front Door, and IoT Hub
• Collaborate closely with product, UX, Cyber Security, andoperations teams to translate business and operational needs into reliable software
• Implement robust testing strategies includingunit, integration, and end-to-end testswith clear ownership of quality gates using tool such as Playwright and Jest
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release processes to enable frequent, safe, and observable deployments using GitHub Actions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve production systems with focus onperformance, accessibility, reliability, and user experience
• Support secure integration patterns including authentication, authorization, and API contract design
• Follow secure software development lifecycle
• Help define and evolve reusable UI components, frontend libraries, and shared engineering patterns
• Work with cloud and platform engineers to ensure efficient integration with telemetry, monitoring, and operational services
• Use AI-assisted development tools pragmatically to accelerate delivery while validating outputs through testing, review, and security checks

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering with full-stack web applications in production
• Experience with AI-assisted / agentic development and modern engineering practices
• Strong frontend skills: React, TypeScript, Next.js/Vite, Tailwind, responsive & accessible UI
• Solid backend experience: Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud architectures on Azure (e.g., Functions, API Management, Cosmos DB)
• Experience with testing (unit, integration, E2E) and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions)
• Good understanding of security, authentication (JWT/OAuth), and secure development practices
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability, and production systems
• Collaborative mindset, strong communication skills, and experience working in cross-functional teams
• Ability to mentor others and drive engineering quality
• Fluency in English and German
