Senior Fund Accounting Officer

Kepler Search is currently supporting a well-established, reputable financial institution in Luxembourg, who are currently hiring for a senior fund accounting officer to join as a consultant. As an officer you will be overseeing a complex portfolio of clients for the client onboarding process, oversight of NAV and monitoring of transfer agency activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather key client information for the onboarding process. Acting as key point of contact for clients for the relationship management.
• Perform oversight of the NAV production process, ensuring SLAs, are adhered to.
• Review/approve NAV calculations and validate any deliverables. Furthermore, ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
• Oversee the transfer agency tasks such as capital call and distribution process and manage assurance checks.
• Identify any risks associated with the NAV calculations and ensure they are correctly mitigated.

Skills needed:

• Over 5 years’ experience as an accountant on alternative funds.
• Experience with working on transfer agency tasks such as the capital call and distribution process.
• Strong experience with Lux GAAP and IFRS.
• English fluent speaking.
