Senior HR Operations Supervisor (m/f/d)

J&T Express is a fast-growing global logistics company with a strong focus on e-commerce and last-mile delivery. With operations across Asia and rapidly expanding across Europe, we are currently building scalable structures across multiple countries.

This role as a Senior HR Operations Supervisor (m/f/d) is a key position within our European setup. You will not only ensure operational excellence in Germany, but also contribute to shaping HR standards and processes across the region.

Your Responsibilities

HR Operations

• Own and drive operational HR processes in a dynamic logistics / CEP environment
• Ensure full compliance with German labor law and all relevant regulations
• Draft, review, and further develop employment contracts and HR documentation
• Set up and optimize HR processes (e.g. time tracking, shift models, night work regulations)
• Manage employee data and personnel files in accordance with GDPR
• Oversee working hours, overtime, and absence management
• Coordinate payroll preparation with external providers

Regional HR Governance (HQ Function)

• Develop and standardize HR Operations processes, guidelines, and templates across Europe
• Ensure HR compliance in collaboration with local HR teams across different countries
• Establish best practices for workforce management, shift operations, and payroll preparation
• Support audits and drive consistency of HR standards across multiple locations

Training & Enablement

• Design and deliver training sessions for HR teams and business stakeholders
• Create structured documentation such as HR playbooks and SOPs
• Enable local HR teams to independently execute standardized HR processes
• Act as a subject matter expert for HR Operations topics within the region

Projects & Team Development

• Support the setup and further development of a regional HR Operations structure
• Lead or contribute to HR projects such as system implementations or process harmonization
• Take ownership in building and developing an HR Operations team over time

Your Profile

• Degree in HR, Business Administration, Business Law, or a comparable field
• 3–5+ years of experience in operational HR, ideally within logistics, production, or shift-based environments
• Strong knowledge of German labor law and HR compliance
• Hands-on experience with contracts, policies, and HR processes
• Experience working with external payroll providers (e.g. DATEV is a plus)
• Structured, independent, and proactive working style
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in German and English
