Senior Information Security Officer

As Senior Information Security Officer you will be part of the global security & compliance team. This team takes care of corporate security including IT and Cloud security as well as the full compliance program of Kiteworks. As Kiteworks sells secure communication and collaboration products, security and compliance are top priorities for the company. Kiteworks has many security certifications and assurance reports and as the business expands to new jurisdictions, they will need to get more certifications in the coming years.

As a senior member of the team, you will directly report to the Global IT CISO and are expected to work independently as well as take the lead on team projects. Although the role requires you to work on many things simultaneously one of the core focusses is on managing the Information Security Management System, including responsibility for the risks assessments, monitoring & reporting, and non-conformity procedures

.Kiteworks is a fast-paced company, and the security and compliance department needs to manage the risks as well as enable the business to grow. We are specifically looking for a pragmatic problem solver that not only identified risks but also mitigations and gets things done.

What You'll Do

• Taking ownership of external security audits such as the ISO27001,BSI
• C5Managing the information security management system, including risk management, evaluation and monitoring, non-conformities, continuous improvement
• Keeping the information security procedures at various departments up to date
• Execution of control tasks for example access checks, supplier reviews and internal audits
• Coordinating with control owners to support timely execution of their tasks
• Reviewing new suppliers and tools
• Handling of security incidents
• Be a spokesperson for customers in the DACH region
• Owning the German specific clearance procedures for German staff
• Taking part in the weekly Security meeting and flagging new risks and opportunities
• Answering questions on security and privacy from customers, prospects and colleagues
• Onboarding newly acquired companies to the global security and compliance program

What You'll Bring

• 7 years' experience with information security and compliance
• Experience with ISO27001 and managing information security management systems
• Experience with BSI
• C5Experience with audits
• Experience with German clearance procedures
• Knowledge of the GDPR
• Affinity with IT and software development
• Experience in a tech company is highly preferred
• Pragmatic and problem solver
• Fluent in English and German
