Senior Investment Manager – Private Credit

We are partnered with a private credit fund focused on providing flexible debt and structured capital solutions to lower-mid and mid-market companies across Europe.

The team is looking to hire a Senior Investment Manager in the DACH region. This is a senior, hands‑on role offering exposure across origination, underwriting, execution, and portfolio management. It is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to play a key role in shaping the firm’s European investment platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and evaluation of new private credit investment opportunities, including sponsor‑led and direct origination across Europe.
• Conduct detailed financial modelling, credit analysis, and structuring of debt and hybrid instruments (senior, unitranche, mezzanine, preferred equity).
• Drive due diligence processes – financial, commercial, and legal – coordinating advisors and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare investment memoranda and present recommendations to the investment committee.
• Monitor portfolio performance, including covenant compliance, ongoing credit reviews, and active engagement with management teams.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to firm‑level strategy and growth initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• 6–10+ years’ experience in private credit, private equity, restructuring, special situations, direct lending, or leveraged finance.
• Proven track record in sourcing, structuring, and managing lower‑mid/mid‑market European transactions.
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills, with deep understanding of credit and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage confidently at senior levels.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
