Senior IT Product Manager – ERP-Systems / Marketing & Sales (m/f/d)

Here's what you can look forward to:

In this role, you own the end-to-end product lifecycle for all non-financial ERP aspects within the Marketing and Sales Business Unit of MB Energy – from order capture and delivery planning to dispatching and final delivery. You will be the overall owner of our new SAP / Implico-based ERP platform, supporting its implementation and ensuring stable operations and continuous improvement.
In addition, you manage other ERP systems such as OTIS (CRT business) and CODAS (UK business) in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and external partners. As part of the global Commercial IT and AI Transformation function, you help build a scalable, data-driven ERP landscape that drives operational excellence, margin improvement, and a strong customer experience.

  • Product Strategy: You own the end-to-end product vision and roadmap for all non-financial ERP capabilities across MB Energy (SAP/Implico, OTIS and CODAS), aligned with your business stakeholder demands.
  • Platform Operations: You manage day-to-day operations, stability, and performance of the SAP / Implico platform after go-live, including incident, change, and release management.
  • System Ownership: You act as the overall IT product owner for additional ERPs (OTIS, CODAS), coordinating vendors and ensuring systems remain fit for purpose for their respective business models.
  • Process Excellence: You analyze, design, and continuously improve end-to-end business processes from product supply and order management to delivery planning, dispatching, and final delivery. Utilize AI capabilities where it makes sense.
  • Digital Transformation: You identify, prioritize, and implement process digitization and automation opportunities across the ERP landscape (e.g., integrations, workflows, data flows).

  • Education: You hold a university degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience: You bring several years of experience in IT Consulting or as an IT Product Manager within a non-digital / asset-heavy environment, with a strong focus on ERP and order-to-cash / order-to-delivery processes.
  • Product Management: You have a proven track record in managing end-to-end product lifecycles, defining roadmaps and KPIs/OKRs, and driving implementation, operations, and continuous improvement.
  • ERP and Process Expertise: You possess strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with ERP systems (ideally SAP-based and/or industry solutions such as Implico, OTIS, and CODAS) as well as integration and automation tools.
  • Stakeholder and Team Collaboration: You work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders across functions and hierarchies without direct authority.
  • Language: You are fluent in German (mandatory) and have very good English skills; additional languages are an advantage.

With these characteristics, you fit perfectly with us:

  • Strategic and Communicative: You combine strategic thinking with strong communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Integrity and Responsibility: You act with integrity, take responsibility for sensitive topics, and maintain a clear stance in critical situations.
  • Adaptability: You remain flexible and effective in a dynamic, fast-changing environment.

Even if you do not fulfill all of the above requirements, we encourage you to apply if you believe your experience will add value to our team.

  • Work-Life Balance: 38.75 working hours per week with 30 days of annual leave
  • Ability to Work Freely: Trust-based working hours and partial remote work flexibility
  • Remuneration and Additional Benefits: Profit sharing, 13 salaries, holiday pay, travel allowance, etc.
  • Support in Various Life Situations: Through our partner pme Familienservice, we offer support in life crises as well as professional advice on work-related and personal matters, such as childcare, elder care, and more
  • Security and Provisions: Accident insurance also covers private accidents; excellent employer's contribution to your company pension scheme; lifetime account with opportunities to save for sabbaticals or early retirement
  • Health: Subzidized membership in EGYM Wellpass, providing access to a wide range of sports facilities across Germany as well as online courses in fitness, nutrition, and meditation; free access to the Headspace app; bicycle leasing
