Senior Java Engineer for Advertising Platform (Remote, PH based only)

We are looking for a passionate Senior Java Engineer to work in a remote setup for our Europe-based client. For this role, we only process candidates who are based in the Philippines and have legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Build shared infrastructure and tooling to help us build better and faster.
• Write clean, high‑quality, high‑performance, maintainable code.
• Coordinate cross‑functionally to ensure the project meets business objectives and compliance standards.

Job Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Several years of hands‑on experience as a Java Software Engineer.
• Understanding of TypeScript is a plus.
• Demonstrate a profound understanding of micro‑services oriented architecture and the creation of extensible REST APIs.
• Showcase practical experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, notably PostgreSQL or DynamoDB.
• Have practical knowledge and hands‑on experience with AWS Lambdas, K8s, AWS ECS, Terraform, continuous delivery practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks.
• Exhibit expertise in cloud computing workloads and storage operations, particularly within the AWS ecosystem.
• Uphold a dedicated commitment to writing clean code, optimizing application performance, and conducting thorough testing.
• Display excellent communication skills in English.
