Senior Legal Counsel M&A Location: Hamburg

Our client is seeking a legal professional to provide expert advice and support on a variety of complex corporate transactions.

Responsibilities:

Offer legal guidance during initial transaction planning and documentation stages. Support compliance and governance requirements throughout deal execution. Oversee and coordinate due diligence efforts. Prepare and negotiate key transactional documents, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders. Assist in obtaining necessary regulatory and internal approvals. Facilitate the closing process and monitor fulfilment of contractual obligations. Develop procedures for the interim period between contract signing and completion. Manage relationships with external advisors and oversee related budgets.

Requirements:

Qualified lawyer with relevant professional accreditation. Significant experience in corporate transactions, preferably with a focus on M&A. Strong communication and negotiation capabilities. Commercial awareness and ability to work across cultures. Excellent organisational and project management skills. Fluency in German and English required; additional languages beneficial. Collaborative mindset and readiness to work in an international setting. Willingness to travel as needed.
