Senior Legal Counsel M&A

Our client is seeking a legal professional to provide expert advice and support on a variety of complex corporate transactions.

Responsibilities

• Offer legal guidance during initial transaction planning and documentation stages.
• Support compliance and governance requirements throughout deal execution.
• Oversee and coordinate due diligence efforts.
• Prepare and negotiate key transactional documents, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.
• Assist in obtaining necessary regulatory and internal approvals.
• Facilitate the closing process and monitor fulfilment of contractual obligations.
• Develop procedures for the interim period between contract signing and completion.
• Manage relationships with external advisors and oversee related budgets.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with relevant professional accreditation.
• Significant experience in corporate transactions, preferably with a focus on M&A.
• Strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Commercial awareness and ability to work across cultures.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.
• Fluency in German and English required; additional languages beneficial.
• Collaborative mindset and readiness to work in an international setting.
