(Senior) Manager - Business Continuity Management - Financial Sector (m/f/d)

Overview

As a Manager within the Financial Services consulting practice, you will lead business continuity and IT service continuity projects for banking and insurance clients. You will help organisations meet regulatory requirements, build resilient operating models, and enhance preparedness for operational disruptions – all within a broader cyber and compliance advisory context. Key Responsibilities

Lead client engagements focused on the design and implementation of BCM and ITSCM frameworks Conduct maturity assessments, business impact analyses, and continuity risk assessments Advise financial services clients on regulatory expectations including MaRisk, BAIT, DORA, and ISO 22301 Develop tailored continuity and crisis response strategies, including governance and tooling (e.g., ServiceNow, Archer) Collaborate with stakeholders to align continuity measures with third-party risk management and sourcing strategies Prepare clients for regulatory inspections and support responses to supervisory findings Contribute to business development by positioning BCM-related services and building client relationships Lead teams and mentor junior consultants across multiple project streams Your Profile

Completed degree in business, IT, engineering or related discipline Minimum 5 years' experience in BCM, IT risk, or operational resilience within consulting or financial services Deep knowledge of financial sector regulations and BCM standards (MaRisk, ISO 22301, BAIT, etc.) Familiarity with BCM tooling and GRC platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Archer, Jira) Experience in stakeholder management, team leadership, and delivery in a regulated environment Professional certifications (e.g., CBCI, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, CISA, CISM) preferred Excellent communication skills in German and English Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on client impact and innovation Seniority level
