As a Senior Manager Procurement (m/f/d) you will take on a strategic leadership role, overseeing sourcing activities for complex, high-value work packages in engineering and construction projects. Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Lead the procurement process for Engineering and Construction Services, MEP Equipment from market analysis and supplier engagement to contract award and performance management.
• Support commercial negotiations and contract drafting in collaboration with legal and project teams.
• Build strong, long‑term supplier relationships, negotiate on equal footing, and act as an escalation point for availability, quality, or cost issues.
• Manage supplier performance through KPIs, regular reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide functional and disciplinary leadership for strategic procurement teams that specialize in a certain area of expertise, e.g. CSA, Mechanical, Process and Electrical.
• Support the professional development of your team through regular feedback sessions and clear target setting.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, EU procurement regulations, and sustainability objectives.
• Challenge existing structures and establish efficient processes.

Show Your Expertise

• Degree in Economics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Extensive experience in strategic procurement with a strong focus on large construction and engineering projects
• Proven track record of delivering procurement strategies for large scale projects
• Understanding of project delivery models (EPC, EPCM, etc.) and contract management
• Proven leadership experience and strong negotiation skills
• Advanced IT skills, especially MS Office and ERP systems (ideally SAP S4 / HANA, SAP ARIBA)
• Experience working in a multinational, matrixed organization
• Willingness to travel and ability / enthusiasm to lead and motivate a team
• Fluent in German and English with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
