Senior Manager (Referent) Mergers & Acquisitions (m/f/d)

Tasks

As Senior Consultant Mergers & Acquisitions (m/f/diverse) you will be responsible for the structuring, management and realization of M&A transactions. Your most important responsibilities are

• Responsible for managing and organizing all activities involved in M&A projects
• Preparation and assessment of company valuations and business cases
• Structuring of M&A transactions
• Coordination of due diligence for both acquisitions and sales
• Further development of the M&A portfolio; presentations on the M&A projects managed
• Preparation of transaction documentation for the Management Board/GF & involvement in transaction strategy and structure
• Conducting contract negotiations and developing and implementing negotiation strategies

Requirements

Ideally, you have the following qualifications:

• Completed university degree (Master) in business administration, finance or comparable
• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience as a project manager in the structuring and execution of complex, international M&A transactions in a leading investment bank or management consultancy
• Complex problem-solving skills
• Specialized knowledge in the field of financial methods
• Strong strategic understanding, high willingness to innovate & entrepreneurial thinking
• Strong negotiation skills & willingness to make decisions
• Strong cost awareness
• High resilience & assertiveness
• Very good communication, negotiation and assertiveness skills
• Fluency in English to realize international projects
