Senior Managing Consultant and Deal Leader for Identity & Access Management (m/w/x)

IBM Consulting Cybersecurity Services is addressing these challenges, using Zero Trust principles, underpinned with AI and assets to advise, design, build, and manage the security of our clients' digital ecosystems and hybrid multi-cloud environments. Identity and Access Management (IAM) in terms of managing user identities and privilege roles, access, and their governance is a substantial part of this approach and fast-growing offering portfolio.

Your Role And Responsibilities

You are a Senior Managing Consultant with deep expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) joining our team to strengthen our Cybersecurity Services business. As a senior technical deal leader and offering champion, you will play a key role in driving business growth as well as building our service offering and delivery capabilities in the fast-growing domain of IAM within the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region. In addition to strong technical and consulting skills and experience, you have strong go-to-market, sales and offer management know-how to drive business growth and service delivery excellence. In your role you will

• Lead and develop IAM offerings with the goal of generating a new pipeline, signings, revenue and profit growth
• Lead engagements and proposals in terms of client IAM stakeholder management, solution and service design and technology partner management
• Provide expert guidance in all functional domains and disciplines of IAM
• Work closely with C-level executives and IAM leads understanding their business needs, identify IAM requirements and opportunities, and deliver tailored IAM solutions and services
• Actively engage in business development efforts and campaigns, expanding the IAM service portfolio and building strong client relationships
• Take ownership of complex projects, providing both technical leadership and business consulting expertise
• Drive the development of our cybersecurity offerings, including the creation of new services and solutions to meet emerging IAM challenges
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of projects, promoting innovation and best practices within the organization
• Take a leadership role in team development, mentoring junior consultants and building a high-performing team

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Extensive (minimum 8 years) experience in IAM Market Trends, Technologies, Solutions, Consulting and Managed Services
• Strong business development and technical (solution and services) sales ambition and experience (minimum 2 years)
• Broad-banded IAM skills covering Identity Governance & Administration; Authentication & Authorization; Consumer Identity Schemes; and Privileged Access Management
• Good technical knowledge and vendor relationships into market leading IAM technologies like SailPoint, Saviynt, One Identity, MS Entra, IBM, Cyberark, Delinea and others
• Experience with IAM related technologies like Directory Services, Single-Sign-On, Multi-Factor Authentication, Identity Federation etc.
• Offering development and team leadership experience (minimum 2 years) with excellent mentoring and communication skills
• Recognized as trusted Cybersecurity (specifically IAM) Advisor up-to C-Level
• Fluent language skills in German and English

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Experience with securing AI use-cases, non-human identities and technologies in the domain of IAM
• Experience with IAM in the domain of SAP and SAP related IAM technologies
• Relevant security certifications like CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, SABSA or other
• Practical experience in a sales role carrying pipeline and signing targets
• Technology and vendor certifications in one or more IAM products (see list above)
• Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements with respect to IAM in the DACH market
