(Senior) Network Consultant - Communication Networks (all genders)

At Accenture, we support leading network operators and infrastructure providers in designing, optimizing, and transforming next-generation mobile networks. As part of our Communication Networks Team, you will work at the forefront of 4G/5G Radio Access Networks, combining deep technical expertise with consulting and stakeholder management skills. You will help our clients improve network performance, enable automation and AI-driven optimization, and prepare their mobile networks for future demands.

What awaits you

• End-to-end involvement in Communication Networks projects - from RAN assessment and optimization concepts to hands‑on analysis and implementation support in live networks.
• Analysis and optimization of 4G/5G Radio Access Networks, including KPI deep-dives, benchmarking, and performance troubleshooting.
• Close collaboration with client engineering, operations, and management teams as a trusted advisor on RAN architecture and vendor‑specific implementations.
• Application of modern approaches in network automation, orchestration, and data‑driven or AI‑supported optimization.
• Contribution to international project teams and technical leadership of workstreams.

What we're looking forward to

• Deep technical expertise in Radio Access Networks with hands‑on experience in 4G/5G RAN architecture, protocols, configuration, and performance management
• Strong vendor experience (Ericsson and/or Nokia is a must)
• Proven background in RAN optimization, benchmarking, KPI analysis, and performance improvement methodologies
• Experience with drive test analysis, scanner measurements, geo‑located KPIs, and tools such as TEMS, Actix and/or Rohde & Schwarz
• Understanding of network automation frameworks, orchestration workflows, and AI‑driven optimization processes
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and consultancy skills.
• University degree or vocational training with technical background
• Flexibility to travel depending on project phases
• Excellent English and fluent German, both required for client‑facing work.
