lemon.markets is a Brokerage‑as‑a‑Service platform: simple digital access to capital markets through a single API. Our API‑first infrastructure abstracts brokerage complexity with a well‑documented API, a self‑service customer operations portal, and a clear regulatory framework, so partners can launch customer‑centric, compliant products in weeks, not months.

We’ve seen firsthand how expensive, slow, and complex brokerage infrastructure can be. We remove that friction for partners and their customers, making investing easier to offer, and easier to use.

Your Mission:

Your mission is to manage & develop our relationship with our Partners from onboarding to the launch and beyond. As Partner Manager you will be the main point of contact to our partners, coordinating all changes and being a consistent partner in building their product and their business. Thus, you will play an important role in establishing lemon.markets as the go‑to‑provider for launching investment products in Europe.

You will:

  • Own the day‑to‑day relationship with our business partners. That means, continuously build out the relationship, coordinate change processes and be a consistent partner in building their product.
  • Act as the first line of defence for our outsourced activities, working closely with Risk, Compliance and Outsourcing to ensure partners are smoothly onboarded and consistently meet regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Go‑to‑Market, Product, Brokerage and Operations to further improve our product and services to find even stronger product‑market fit.
  • Qualify, calculate and validate business cases to help our partners expand their product offering and steer the process around it.
  • Build out all processes & design the framework & standards for the Partner Management function.
  • Embrace a strong writing culture & help us deepen our understanding by sharing your knowledge & partner insights proactively.

You will be successful in this role if:

  • Growing investing opportunities excites you. Our mission resonates with you, because you have worked in the financial sector before, ideally in a Brokerage Firm or a Fintech.
  • You have gained 5 to 8 years of experience in managing Business Partnerships & building strong Relationships. Whether you come from Business Analysis, Strategy Consulting, Project Management or Onboarding Management, your path into this role can have taken some relevant twists and turns!
  • You always play the long game with partners. You not only think in just projects & work streams, but you desire to build a strong & lasting partnership from day one. That means understanding our partners’ long term ambitions, their way of working and building trust.
  • You are a great communicator in English and German (C1+). Whether it’s with partners or other lemoneers, you are able to build trustful relationships, that allow for tough conversations, without breaking the relationship.
  • You gained hands‑on experience with setting up and working on cross‑functional projects , coordinating multiple work streams and with numerous internal and external stakeholders simultaneously.
  • You had some exposure to outsourcing & vendor management. As part of setting up & managing partners, you will also define and manage SLAs with our Partners.
  • You cope well with ambiguity & uncertainty and account for it in your planning. You can juggle several projects & deadlines while staying calm, organised and not losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • You have seen solid & robust compliance processes and by that, understand best practices & the guardrails of regulation.
  • You thrive on ownership : “This is not my job!” is not part of your vocabulary – you are intrinsically motivated to deliver value by taking initiative and challenging the status quo.
