Herchenbach Industrial Buildings is a leading European industrial building contractor with more than 100 years of history and a strong presence in seven European countries.

Responsibilities

Build the new People Services team together with an experienced HR specialist and report to the Head of People & Culture.
Ensure smooth processes across the entire employee lifecycle – from employment contracts to off‑boarding – guiding every Herchenbacher through the steps.
Deliver comprehensive HR reporting to provide transparency for decision‑making.
Co‑manage payroll operations with the HR colleague, guaranteeing timely and accurate remuneration for all employees and maintaining high data quality.
Provide legal safeguards for management, handling contract drafting and employment law matters; coordinate external partners when issues become complex across Europe.
Own the implementation and adoption of the new People‑Software system Personio, ensuring it becomes an effective tool for all users with clear processes, functioning self‑services, and accurate data.
Champions the development of a performance‑oriented compensation structure in the medium term.

Qualifications

At least 10 years of experience in People Services units.
Preferably a university degree to support strategic and analytical thinking.
Extensive experience with People software, ideally Personio.
Ability to distinguish between perfect and pragmatic solutions, with a pragmatist mindset.
Strong service orientation and a confident presence at the executive level.
English language skills that extend beyond basic communication, suitable for European collaboration.
Passion for HR and a drive to create meaningful impact.
