Senior Planner - Expat Opportunity - Based in Belgium

Elusav are recruiting a Senior Planner for one of Europe's largest Contractors for Data Center Construction Projects based onsite in Belgium on a data center, in an expat capacity. Relocation support & flights provided

The Senior planner will be responsible for Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning. Previous experience with Primavera P6 essential. Excellent opportunity to join a market leader in Data Center construction on a major CV defining project.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional / sectoral).
• Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP.
• Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning.
• Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis.
• Earned Value Management systems.
• Monitoring schedule performance and productivity.
• Auditing progress on site.
• Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors.
• Preparation of tender schedules.
• Preparation of histograms.
• Supporting weekly workface planning systems.
• Resource / cash loading of schedules.
• Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.
• Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions.
• Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes.
• Managing, training, coaching, supporting, developing, leading staff, if required.
• Covering Planning Manager responsibilities when required.
• Covering Project Planner responsibilities when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience working in planning on large-scale construction projects.
• Be proficient using Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Excel.
• Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequence.
• Able to produce programme to plan and monitor the works from necessary information (drawings/model/SOW etc.).
• Capable of managing the planning of large-scale projects with minimum supervision.
