(Senior) PLM Application Manager (m/f/d)

Hybrid | Full-time | Germany | Immediate start

THE ROLE

This is a hands‑on PLM Application Manager role within a small, expert team responsible for the operation, optimisation, and further development of the PLM platform Tex-Define (Koppermann) .

You will act as the central technical owner of the PLM environment, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous improvement, while playing a key role in the PLM–SAP integration as part of a wider SAP transformation programme.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own the application management of Tex-Define (Koppermann) across business units
Act as the primary contact for user support, requirements management, and change requests
Ensure stable operation of the PLM landscape including MS SQL databases, applications, and interfaces
Lead the stabilisation and optimisation of a newly implemented PLM environment
Drive and support PLM–SAP integration (incl. interfaces to ERP, PIM, SCM)
Perform hands‑on configuration, scripting, and data work with direct database access
Support project delivery alongside day‑to‑day application operations
Advise business stakeholders and product teams on PLM best practices and process optimisation
Support additional PLM domains such as Footwear and Accessories

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Strong experience as a PLM Application Manager / PLM Consultant / PLM Systems Specialist
Hands‑on expertise with Tex-Define (Koppermann) – this is a must‑have
Solid understanding of PLM processes in a product‑driven environment (e.g. fashion, retail, consumer goods)
Experience integrating PLM with SAP ERP and related enterprise systems
Strong knowledge of MS SQL , including direct database access
Practical experience with VBA for PLM customisation and integration
Experience in data modelling, structuring, and governance
Familiarity with REST APIs and SAP MM is a plus
Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Fluent German and good English
