Senior Principal Digital IC Designer

Overview

My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Principal Digital IC Design Engineer to join their innovative team in Munich. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of mobility by contributing to the development of cutting-edge micro-controllers and software solutions for the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Contributing significantly to the IP strategy in the field of digital design
• Collaborating with a team responsible for infrastructure, methodology, and automation for IP concept, design, and verification
• Facilitating and encouraging innovation across boundaries, both within and outside the IP design organisation
• Observing and proactively acting on external and internal trends to drive advancements
• Coaching and challenging new ideas, balancing risks and opportunities, and driving informed decisions
• Engaging effectively with engineers, senior managers, and senior technical leadership to align on goals and strategies

Qualifications

• A University Degree in a relevant field
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in digital IP design.
• Expert understanding of digital design methodologies and flows
• Proven ability to develop complex digital designs targeting high-speed and/or low-power applications, with an in-depth understanding of the SoC implementation flow
• Demonstrated ability to solve critical, high-complexity problems by leveraging expert networks and driving continuous improvement
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas and proposals effectively in both verbal and written forms, and the capacity to influence stakeholders
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasks efficiently
• In-depth understanding of Analog IP Design and Integration
